Fine Early 20th century Nantucket Basket Attributed to William Appleton c.1900

This beautiful Nantucket lightship basket is marked in pencil on the bottom "Olcott VI" for Roger Olcott who lived in Manchester, CT., but summered on Nantucket from 1916 to 1922. Height 5 1/2", diameter 8". Attributed to the famous Nantucket basket maker 'William Appleton.'
