Fine Small Nantucket Lightship Basket Attributed to William Appleton c. 1900

Inscribed on the bottom "Roger Olcott 1917 III", this basket was owned by Mr. Olcott who summered on Nantucket from 1916 to 1922. Attributed to the famous maker William Appleton, this basket stands 3 1/4" tall and has a diameter of 6 1/4".
