Born in 1803 and died in 1882, Emerson is considered one of the leading orators, poet and essayists of his time. This large and imposing pair of weighted bronze bookends measure 7 1/2" high by 3 1/2" deep and were made by Paul Mori and Sons circa 1925 in galvano bronze.
