A Beautiful Silver-Mounted HOLY BIBLE Printed in Hamburg in 1737

Retaining its' original full black morocco hand tooled leather covers and spine, this fine BIBLE was printed in Hamburg by Ben Jacob Rebelein in 1737. On the inside of the silver clasp the original owner's name is inscribed "JOHAN ROHLFIEN" and the date 1742. The pages are gilt and carved in a floral design.
