A Diminutive Nantucket Swing Handled Basket by S.P. Boyer circa 1940-1950.

Measuring only 3" high and having a diameter of only 5", this sweet little basket is in near mint condition with no breaks or cracks in the rattan. The only loss is to Boyer's paper label on the bottom where only a portion remains. The original label says the following: 'I was made on Nantucket Island. I am strong and stout. Don't lose or burn me. I'll never wear out.'
