This is a basket that must be seen to be fully appreciated. A one-of-a kind masterpiece which took approximately 8 months to make. All the appointments are made of ivory and scrimshawed by Marcy Pumphret. The Humpback whale on the lid in carved out of fossil walrus ivory and done by Al Doucette. The detail is amazing.
