A Fine and RARE Ivory Monocular signed 'George Adams, London' circa 1770

The silvered one draw tube is signed "G. Adams, London" for George Adams who was considered one of the finest instrument makers in London in the 18th century. He was appointed Royal Optician (Instrument Maker) to King George III in 1760. Complete with its' original red leather carrying case. Tiny chip, almost unnoticeable, on the outer rim.
