SOLD

This well used but rare pocket telescope was made by George Linnell of London circa 1780-1800. What makes this very special is the hand stitched sailor-made canvas case with belt loop, the only one I have ever seen. Quite a rare survivor and clearly indicating that this scope was used by a mariner. Scope, length closed: 7" Extended: 16 3/4"
