A single-draw mahogany barreled telescope made by Joseph Cox of London circa 1790-1822

Although there were several Cox brothers working in this profession in the late 18th and early 19th century, I attribute this scope to Joseph Cox based upon a nearly identical example by him in the telescope collections of the Royal Observatory, Greenwich, England. This example measures 20" closed and 35" when fully extended. The Optics are sharp and clear.
