Fine Cased Mariner's Sextant circa 1928

Made by the English instrument maker 'Heath & Co., New Eltham, London,' this fine set is one of the most complete and elaborate that I have seen. Beautiful mahogany case comes complete with its' original horsehide leather protective carrying case. Silver scale. Contents include all sights, lenses, binoculars, sighting scopes and tools. A certificate from the National Physical Labratory dated 1928 attests to the fact that this was a veryhigh quality and important sextant.
