A Civil War .32 cal. six-shot revolver by "E.A. Prescott, Worcester, Mass., Pat. Oct.2, 1860"

SOLD

This nice short frame revolver has a 4" long rifled octagonal barrel with a blade style front sight. The matching serial number is 570. The walnut grips retain their original finish and are as good as they get. The frame is nickel plated showing quite a bit of wear and light pitting. The barrel and cylinder retain much of their original blueing. This gun has a split type cylinder pin with an integrated locking mechanism and makes for easier loading and unloading the catridges. The case is period but has been adapted for this pistol. The case measurements are W 10 3/4" by D 7 1/4" by H 2 1/2".
