Made in 1981 for display in the Governor's Palace at Colonial Williamsburg, this exact reproduction was hand-crafted by the gunsmiths working at Colonial Williamsburg. The lockplate is signed 'Willets 1761' and also has the Crown over GR for King George III. The full walnut stock shows only minor nicks and scratches from being handled and mounted for display. The steel barrel is 12" long and the overall length is an impressive 19". This is the type of pistol which saw much action during the French and Indian Wars as well as the Revolutionary War. A rare opportunity to acquire a beautiful display piece at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.
