A fabulous Naval Officers' Dirk, American or English, circa 1810

One of the best examples I have ever seen. Wonderful anchor form guard showing little if any wear. 12" double edged blade. Ivory handle with no cracks or chips. Original brass mounted leather scabbard. Overall length: 16 1/4". Could have been used during the War of 1812 or during the Napoleonic Wars of 1795-1815.
