A fine silver inlaid curly maple Pennsylvania percussion long rifle by Joseph Douglass of Huntington county circa 1850-1860.

Having a .48 cal. octagonal smooth bore barrel measuring 44 3/4" long, this highly decorative and impressive piece has 34 wonderfully engraved silver inlays including three eagles. The curly maple stock retains its' original Huntington county dark finish. The lockplate is signed "Henry Parker Warranted." The guns also features double set triggers. Overall length is 59 1/2". This rifle is clean, solid and correct throughout.
