This very heavy example was made by Thomas Barnett, a Contractor to Ordnance from 1794 and Contractor to The East India Company from 1797. The gun measures 41" in length and has a 24" steel barrel with a 1" bore. It has a full length walnut stock which is in remarkably good condition with only a few minor dents and nicks. It comes complete with its' original steel ramrod. The barrel does show significant pitting which is to be expected. A seldom seen example worthy of any collection. A mounting block has been custom made for this piece.
