This very attractive pair of late 17th century Italian flintlock pistols are marked "PIETRO DAFINO" on the barrels and "FRANCO BETONI" on the lockplates. The pistols have 11" barrels with an overall length of 17." Each come with their original polished steel belt hooks. The full length carved walnut stocks are in near perfect condition with no visible repairs, cracks or dents. An unusual feature is that the butt cap, trigger guard and screw holding the cock all have identical grotesque face mounts. The ramrods appear to be original.
