Fine English 6-Shot Bar-Hammer Pepperbox Pistol circa 1850

This fine example of a mid nineteenth century antique English bar-hammer pepperbox pistol is signed "John Lord, Improved Revolving Pistol." It retains over 90% of its' original casehardened and blue finish. The walnut grips are finely checkered and there is a silver escutcheon with the initials 'R C.'
