Rare Antique 18th Century Combination Cutlass and Pistol Circa 1770

This rare Revolutionary War period combination cutlass and flintlock pistol is probably European and dates to circa 1775. Due to the length of this 'short' sword, it was possibly made for a naval officer. The sideplate of the pistol is engraved "Roma". The overall length is 22 1/2" and the weapon is in fine original condition
