A Beautiful Hand Carved Eagle made by J.P. Uranker of Martha's Vineyard

Named the '1851 America's Eagle' after the original sternboard eagle of the America's Cup contender in the first ever race between Great Britain and the United States in 1851, this magnificent piece measures 14" by 55" and is carved from one solid piece of mahogany. It is then decorated with 23K gold leaf. It can be used indoors or outdoors and is weather resistant. Note: Mr. Uranker carved the eagle head for the flagship of the U.S. Coastguard, now used as a training ship.
