A Late 19th or Early 20th Century Great Lakes Sailmaker's Sea Chest in Original Paint

The top is signed 'Richard Young' and depicts the topsail schooner Mary Brack which spent her life on Lake Huron. Built in 1858 in Ontario, the ship was wrecked at Bear's Rump Shoal on Oct. 7, 1907. Wonderful sailor-woven leather beckets. H: 17 1/2" W 35 1/2" D 16"
