A RARE carved walnut Masonic Mirror circa 1868 carved by JOHN HALLEY BELLAMY (1836-1914)

Outstanding quality and made by America's most famous wood carver, known primarily for his carved eagles (one sold for $660,000 three years ago). Bellamy carved many Masonic frames and patented his carvings, but few remain outside of museums. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a genuine example featured on page 91 in the book entitled 'John Halley Bellamy, Carver of Eagles' by Yvonne B. Smith. The mirror measures 32" by 22".
