An early 19th century Dovetailed Sailor's Chest with Wonderful Ropework Beckets

Constructed from highly figured hardwoods, this early double canted antique seaman's chest dates to circa 1800-1830. The chest retains its' wonderful sailor-made ropework beckets, possibly the original ones. The interior has double tills on either side. W 40" D 19" H 17".
