A Large Minton Porcelain Ladle circa 1815

This otherwise perfect example does have a 2" hairline crack running down from the top of the bowl which looks to have been repaired in the 19th century. The crack is sealed and smooth and 'watertight' and no attempt was made to hide the crack. What makes this ladle so unusual is the 'claw' which attaches the bowl to its stem. Length: 12". If perfect, price would be at least double.
