I have to state upfront that the tureen shows signs of an old break at one corner, expertly repaired and barely visible. Having said that, this is undoubtedly one of the finest Chinese export tureens that I have ever seen. It is very heavy and well made with beautiful color. If the tureen had been perfect, I would be asking nearly $4,000. Even with the barely noticeable repair, this is still an extremely fine example of an early export tureen. 14 1/2" x 10" x 8"
