A beautiful pair of post Civil War era all-brass Ships runnings lights with their original verically ribbed lenses circa 1875

Made by the Civil War era firm of Watson & Russell of Buffalo, New York, this spectacular vertically ribbed lensed ships lamps date to 1875 and are stamped as such. They stand approx. 24" high and were electrified many years ago judging by the old cord and type of plug used. They have a very stout eye hook on the top and hanging mounts on the back. I have never seen an earlier pair that are marked with both the name of the maker as well as the patent date.
