A RARE 18th century Museum quality English Half Hull Model circa 1750-1780

SOLD

This is the earliest half hull model that I have seen. It is not a builders model but was probably made for or by a crew member for the Captain. The figurehead features a lady's bust. Wonderful original color and patina! The backboard measures 25" by 9".
