A Rare Cane made from salvaged wood and copper from Admiral Nelson's Flagship HMS FOUDROYANT

The beautiful embossed copper knob has three separate panels, one depicting the ship itself and its' history, the second depicting Admiral Lord Nelson and the third stating that the cane was made from salvaged materials taken from the ship when she was broken up in 1897. Historical note: The Foudroyant was an 80 gun ship of the line of the Royal Navy launched in 1798. she was Nelson's flagship from 1799-1800. Length: 36"
