A fine and rare late 19th century silver over brass Harvard style Lamp made in Germany circa 1891

Although the silver finish has been worn off in places due to years of polishing, the underlying brass body makes this particular piece quite stunning. Made in Germany circa 1891, the detailed casting is of the highest quality. The white glass shade is a later replacement and has a 7" diameter at the base. Overall, a really nice lamp seldom seen on the market.
