A fine set of 4 Large Silver Tablespoons by Joseph Foster of Boston circa 1795

SOLD

Each has the letter 'P' in script. Foster was born in 1760 and died in 1839. He was apprenticed to Benjamin Burt, one of Boston's finest silversmiths of the late 18th century. Each spoon measures nearly 9" long.
