A large early Victorian Brass and Steel Padlock by Richard Madeley circa 1840

This is the largest early 19th century padlock that I have ever owned measuring 6" by 4 1/4". Marked 'Patent' over crown 'VR" with the name Richard Madeley on the latch. Complete with a period key in good working order.
