A rare and exceptionally large George I period silver Stuffing Spoon by Jane Lambe, London, 1723

SOLD

In the 'Old English' pattern, this wonderful stuffing spoon measures 15 1/2" long. It was made by Jane Lambe, who took over her husband's silversmithing business when he died. The four hallmarks are quite good and the spoon has what appears to be its' original crest, that of a wild boar.
