An English Queen Anne Period Silver Basting Spoon made in London in 1712 having a crest depicting a Bat.

Measuring nearly 14" long and in the Hanoverian pattern with rat-tail bowl, this fine example has a rarely seen crest of a Bat. It comes from the famous Meech Collection sold in 1993.
