A 17th century vellum bound German Bible printed in 1695 and in near 'unused' condition

What is striking about this Bible is its' condition. For something that would have been used so frequently, this Bible shows almost no wear. The vellum covers and spine are tight. The pages show virtually no wear and are not foxed or toned. The illustrations are dark and lovely. In total, there are 1,412 pages not counting the registers or index or notes. The Bible measures 6 1/2" by 4 1/4" by 3". Quite a find and worthy or any collection.
