A Beautiful 8" Long 19th Century Sperm Whale's Tooth Weighing 2 Pounds

Great shape and with original patina and color. Note: there is a 'v' shaped indentation approximately 1" long by 3/8" deep which appears to have been made when the tooth was removed from the whale's jaw in the 19th century. It is now very smooth and has an old patina which matches the rest of the tooth. It is located on the ridge of the tooth approximately 6" down from the point end. This minor flaw is reflected in my asking price.
