A beautiful pair of 19th century scrimshawed whale's teeth

Both teeth have wonderful color and patina and measure approximately 5 3/8" long. One tooth features a gentleman wearing 18th century clothing, possibly being George Washington. The reverse side features a man wearing what appears to be 17th century clothing and a hat with a sword in one hand and a shovel in the other. The second tooth depicts a lady wearing a bonnet with the reverse side featuring a man wearing Scottish attire, kneeling before a lady. Circa 1840
