A Civil War Ambrotype Image of a Seated Militia Soldier in a Rare "Monitor" Case c. 1864

Although the image is cloudy around the edges, the soldier himself is quite dark and clear. The case depicts the Ironclad "Monitor" and there is some damage to the lower edge of the case.
