A fabulous pair of 18th century Armorial Engravings in Spectacular frames and matting

SOLD

The original hand colored armorials are those of George Byng, Viscount Torrington (circa 1721-1750) and George Nevill, 1st Earl of Abergavenny (circa 1750-1770). What makes these engravings so wonderful are the spectacular way in which they were framed and matted. If these were done today, one would be looking at spending at least $2,000 for the framing and matting. 28" by 34 1/2"
