A Letter signed by Civil War Maj. Genl. George Meade Recommending a Staff Officer for Gallantry

Written on May 21, 1866, this fine letter recommends a staff officer for Gallantry during the BATTLE OF GETTYSBURG. Together with an engraving of Meade done circa 1865 and now in a custom made mat and frame.
