A magnificent early 19th century English brass mounted rosewood travelling dressing box circa 1810-1830.

Even though this box is missing its' original bottles and implements, which is not unusual, the box itself is one of the best that I have ever handled. The pierced brass inlays are wonderful and the rosewood is vibrant. The interior remains untouched with the gilt embossed leather interior compartment just wonderful.
