A Napoleonic period bone games box (dominoes & cribbage) circa 1809
SOLD
Gorgeous twin hinged dome tops featuring a pair of love birds. The fitted interior contains three handmade bone dice and 68 hand carved bone dominoes. On the underside is an old paper label stating that the box was made at "Portchester Castle circa 1809 by captured French soldiers and sailors."
