This rare dedication page to King George II reads as follows: 'To the King and to the Nobility and Gentry of Great Britain: This book intitled the Universal Penman is most humbly dedicated by His Majestys' most loyal subject and their obedient and most devoted humble servant, George Bickham.' Beautifully engraved and with original hand coloring now museum matted and framed.
