A Revolutionary War period State of Massachusetts Bay Bond payable on January 1, 1780.

This handsomely engraved Revolutionary War period Massachusetts bond is signed by two committee members, J. Mascarent and Stephen Minot and has a cancelled signature of Treasurer H. Gardner, but has not been filled in or dated. It has a small pine tree at the upper left and the legend "Death to Counterfeit this" at the bottom. Custom framed and matted with calligraphic description. 17 3/4" by 13 3/4"
