A spectacular 19th century Cordial set, French or English, circa 1860

The rosewood box with ebony edges and burled walnut veneers has four outstanding applied panels depicting cherubs, mythical creatures and leafy vines. The interior contains a gilt-brass 'bamboo' form frame holding in place the four etched glass decanters and the matching 16 etched glass cordial glasses. All in all, quite breath taking in appearance. Everything is original with no damages. Width: 15" Height: 11" Depth: 11"
