SOLD

Samuel (1696-1779) and Nathaniel Buck recorded much medieval architecture and actually drew and engraved 428 views of the ruins of all the noted abbeys and castles in England, Scotland and Wales. This wonderful group of four engravings include BREKNOKE CASTLE, MANNORBEER CASTLE in Pembroke, LEWIS PRIORY & CASTLE in Sussex and WESLEY CASTLE in Glamorgan. Each has been beautifully French matted and framed in a custom carved frame measuring 26" by 19".
