Extremely RARE heavy whalebone Log Book Stamp holder circa 1850.

Made from very heavy pieces of panbone and beautifully turned, this fine and rare example stands 6 1/2" high. This very piece is illustrated in "Nautical Antiques" by Robert W.D. Ball and published by Schiffer Publishing in 1994, page 84.
