A fine Antique English brass mounted mahogany Dressing Box by "L.Leuchers, Maker to Her Majesty" circa 1830-1840.

This very fine box has its' original red velvet lined lift out trays and letter compartment in the lid. The crest on the escutcheon plate features a winged griffin and a crown with hand above, indicating that the owner was a 'titled' member of the aristocracy. Measurements: 13" x 9 1/2" x 6"
