A fine English George III period mahogany veneered slant-lid desk circa 1780

Beautiful color. The shaped interior is full of hidden compartments. The brasses are period but may not be original. The leather writing surface does appear to be original.H 40" W 36" D 20". A terrific value at under $1,000.
