An exceptionally fine and beautiful 19th century British 'campaign form' Regimental Silver Chest circa 1850-1875.

Made of highly figured rosewood and brass mounted, this magnificent chest was used to store the Regimental silver plate carried on campaign by the British Army. It appears to have been made and used in the far east. The color and patina of the wood is outstanding. Height: 16" Width: 28" Depth: 16 1/2"
