British Campaign Chest on Anglo-Indian Inlaid Stand circa 1870

This beautifully figured richly colored mahogany brass mounted campaign trunk dates to circa 1870. The inlaid stand, which is of the same period, was likely made in India and serves to make this into a very useful and functional piece of furniture.
