A fine and Rare George Washington Memorial Calligraphic Exercise by Luther Tasker, Professor of Penmanship, circa 1800-1820

Made by "Luther Tasker, Professor of Penmanship," this rare pen and ink calligraphic exercise depicts a portrait of Washington and was likely made shortly after the death of Washington in 1799. There are two tears, now partially repaired, and some old creases. Recently achivally matted and framed. Including frame the width is 30 1/2" and the height is 27".
